Founder & Managing Director
With more than 30 years’ experience working inside and as a consultant for the NHS, Lynn is one of the UK’s leading advisors on patient-centred organisational improvement. A former nurse and health visitor, Lynn stepped up to Director-level management for a Health Authority, an acute hospital and as Assistant Dean of Primary Care in London. Still working on the frontline of development, her cross-discipline approach has allowed her to implement change within primary and community care at both practitioner and commissioner level. With a particularly interest in evidence-based service delivery, her passion for ensuring an healthy NHS is stronger than ever.
Physical working environments are as important as the staff working within them and Simon brings more than 30 years’ expertise to the McLaren Perry team. A qualified engineer and accountant, his entire career has involved the management of complex projects from early stage feasibility studies, through detailed planning applications, to construction and completion. Have worked in property finance, luxury property construction and property management, Simon has more recently turned his attention to healthcare-related projects, including GP practices and primary care sites across the UK.
Director of Human Resources
With an MSc in HR Management, Chartered Fellowship of the CIPD and more than 30 years’ NHS experience, Jenny is passionate about developing best employment practice to deliver high quality patient care. Overseeing all aspects of McLaren Perry’s HR consultancy services and HR-related matters, Jenny calls on Director-level HR experience from an acute Foundation Trust as well as workforce development initiates across primary, community and social care organisations. With a focus on positive opportunities, but aware of the occasional need for a robust approach to staffing issues, she has extensive experience of the TUPE process, restructuring consultations, disciplinaries and performance management, skills mix reviews and the recent Apprentice Levy for staff development.
After a career in education, including as Deputy Head Teacher of a large primary school, Matt transferred his significant project management and team development skills to the health sector. Since joining McLaren Perry, he has merged two GP practices and created a new Vulnerable Patients service. With training in Significant Incident investigation and Root Cause Analysis reports, Matt now leads disciplinary investigations and consultation exercises for organisational change. His PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner qualifications provide valuable insight into the use of technology in enhancing communications within complex, multiple-stakeholder projects.
Financial Director (Non-Exec)
The son of a GP himself, Ed has managed McLaren Perry’s accounts for more than 20 years. He not only has an in-depth understanding of the company, but the financial challenges faced by its NHS and healthcare clients. Formerly Founder and Managing Partner of a successful specialist London-based accountancy practice which included clinician clients, Ed has recently taken on the Non-Executive role of Financial Director for McLaren Perry. His insight into financial systems and best practice account management adds specialist support to MP’s project management team, in particular turning around organisations in financial crisis and setting them on sustainable, measurable paths to security and potential growth.
Director of Primary Care
With a respected track record, Michelle’s healthcare management skills are in high demand. From GP practices, out of hours services and walk-in centres, to diagnostics and secondary care, Michelle has managed projects and services across them all. A team-player with a collaborative approach to delivering positive change in healthcare, Michelle has recently led a major capital project to add capacity to emergency and walk in care in Rotherham.
Data and Performance Analyst
Every McLaren Perry project sets measurable outcomes, meaning Lee plays a critical role is critical in leveraging technologies, researching and analysing the data that demonstrates performance improvement.
With more than 25 years’ spent in healthcare, Lee has held senior roles in IBM Consulting, Tribal Consulting, as well as being appointed Director of Commissioning Solutions for Bupa Health Dialog. With a focus on emerging technologies, he has provided strategic planning, systems re-engineering and analytic consultancy to national and regional commissioning services as well as independent organisations.
